Howl of the Dragonwolf

I weep for the child raised by wolves

For I am a dragon raised by man

I know what it is to be feral

To be stunted

To be unable to perceive the brilliance of my kind

Perhaps once they rescued me

And I ferociously lunged at them

I weep for the child raised by wolves

I weep for the dragons raised by man

Will we ever truly know what our bodies and minds could have been?
